Just A Little Snow

Growing up in  PA we always got a ton of snow in the winter, so naturally wherever I'm at I want some snow!! I don't need a ton some a few inches for the kids to be able to make a snowman. Is that too much to ask?? This winter here in WA just doesn't feel like winter. I took Xavier to school today and it was 50 outside! That's Spring weather isn't it?? Anyway I guess I live through all my friends and family that post how cold and how much snow they get in PA! Speaking of PA, I really miss home. Who knows when I'll make it home again :( blah

Back at it.....

So today the hubby went back to work and Xavier headed off to school :( I thought by now I would be glad for them both to be gone but not at all. I felt like it was the first day of school letting him go:( I'm ready to home school!!! With a huge smile on his face my little guy was beside himself to finally be going back to school.

I tried my hardest last year to complete the 365 picture challenge and only made it a few months so I've decided I'm gonna try it again! Not to mention I really enjoyed doing it. So I'm posting 2 photos today.

Im Back!

Well hello out there in the blog world! It's been awhile since I've blogged. I was having a brain fart then just got lazy and didn't feel like it. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! We had a very nice holiday together, getting Michael home with us for 2 whole weeks! I've been spoiled! A lot :) We take turns sleeping in and doing breakfast (I however do breakfast way better, I cook while Michael feeds them fruit bars).

Anyway Santa was good as always and the Bucci boys have all the toys to prove it :) This has been one of my favorite ones so far! Hoping and praying his orders change but it looks like he won't be home next Christmas.....yuck, poo and blah! We take what we can get and enjoy every minute of the time we do have.

As I was taking our tree down this year I noticed we have more ornaments that say new home then we do any others!! Just thought that was funny and kinda sad. Ft. Lewis will be our last duty station before Michael retires so no more moving. Thank gosh!

SuperHero?? No No Army Wife!!

Long days, lonely nights, dinner alone, school functions, raising children and keeping the house from burning down are just some of many things I do being an Army wife. I know I know you say "well my husband works all day long and I have the kids, the house and all the other stuff to do. As this may be true at least your husband does come home, unlike ours that spend days, weeks, months and years away.

I by no means am trying to make anyone reading this upset, I just get so tired of seeing people on FB saying how much they miss their husband, and it's only been like a day or so. WOW!!!!! Wish we had those problems. Before you make your remarks like "you knew before getting married that this is what it would be like". That right there is why I always keep issues like this to myself. There is Ft. Lewis FB for the wives and they will rip you a new one if you say you miss your husband and I'm tired of doing this alone. HELLO!! Can't a girl just vent without getting her butt chewed out???

Sorry, that was my vent of the day. Felt good to say.

On a happy note went shopping today and saved a ton :) I do love me some coupons!!
