6 yrs of wonderful

Tonight was open house for Xavier and I went with a smile on my face and left with tears in my eyes :( I just can't seem to wrap my head around the fact that my little baby will be in school ALL day long. Although we had a great meeting with his teacher and I'm very excited for him to take this next step it's still a very hard pill to swallow. I feel like I'm choking on it to be quite honest with you.

As we're having the meeting she said well I'm sure he's gonna do great come TUESDAY! That right there is a red flag. His class wasn't suppose to start until the 8th, so I still had plenty of time to cry and feel bad for myself. Now he goes to school in like 5 minutes!!! I can't breathe!!! being a parent IS not for the weak!! I know I'm a baby, well this is my blog and I'll cry if I want to......tear tear.  At one point in the meeting I so bad wanted to throw in there "oh yeah BTW if anyone hurts my baby or does anything I'll kill you"! Too much??? Listen I know as parents we all have those feelings of protection for our young but man it seems so hard to send my little guy off to school that is still nonverbal. I have to just pray and know that when I can't be around to protect him that God is always with him. That definitely helps me but still wish I could be a fly on the wall.

So to sum this all up these past 6 yrs with my baby have been the best. I was never ever in a hurry to see him go to school or ever get older than 3 but such is life. So come Tuesday I'll have my tissues, chocolate, and yes potato chips and I'm throwing one heck of a pity party.

Flashback!

Holy Cow!

When the hubby got home I took my happy tail back to my wonderful bed and passed out :) It was the best two hours of sleep. I got up took the dogs to pee checked the kids and back to my room I went. To my surprise MY hubby not only did the dishes BUT also ran the dishwasher!!! He's spoiling me kids!!!! I asked him if he was OK?? his response yeah I'm just having a good day! Holla! Mind you we've lived in this house for a few months and I'm pretty sure that was only his second time in front of the sink.

On Saturday night I was even able to meet a friend to have dinner and watch The Help! Which by the way is a great movie. I highly recommend it. Man it just doesn't get any better than this kids.

I have been pretty lazy lately with my funny blog stories of my marriage so what the hay here's another from the Bucci volt.

It was Christmas '04 and I was pregnant with Xavier. Michael and I traveled to PA for the Holidays. On our last day we went with his family to his sisters house. OK so we were only married for 3 months at this time so we were still at the point where he couldn't keep his hands off me! We were in his sister's spare bedroom making out like a bunch of teenagers when at some point he said something so funny I did a #1 all over myself and the floor. Talk about being embarrassed!!! Although Michael was very entertained by this I was beside myself that I just peed all over her floor! I made him promise me like 100x please do not ever tell your sister what I did! Not as funny as others but still a good one in my books!

Help Please!

I'm not sure what's going on with my comments but it won't let me comment back to anyone???? I can't seem to figure it out. So if anyone knows and would be nice enough to walk me through that, that would be awesome.

Speaking of awesome I'm awesome!!!! I was totally that lady in line with 50 coupons, and as I walked away the cashier apologized that it was taking too long. Well people behind me be jealous cause this wench saved a butt load tonight at Wal-Mart with lovely coupons:) I'll have to get my almost free things together and post a picture of what I got. This by far was my biggest trip and it was a little crazy! I had to be completly focused and stick to the plan!! I sound like an old lady. Oh well an old lady saving money! Holla!! My husband was a little not so sure of this whole coupon thing but now he knows I got skills!

Is there anyone out there in blog-ville who is also doing coupons??? If so what kind of savings are you having? Well it's time for me to go and take another look at all my free stuff before I hit the hay!! Night all :)

Sorry

Last night I received a panicked phone call from my sister in law telling me my post yesterday was a bit too much. REALLY???? It was just a booger!

Any who just wanted to say sorry if it was too gross for you but not sorry I posted it! I think that is one heck of a funny story.

Please someone out there tell me you have some sort of hilarious story (maybe not a booger) just between your husband and yourself!!

Flying Booger

Here comes funny story #2 about my wonderful husband and yours truly!

It was winter 05 and we were staying at the Ronald McDonald house due to Xavier being in the hospital. It was Feb and Mike had to return back to his unit in Ft. Campbell KY. He was gone for a full week and it was really tough on me to be left alone so when he finally returned a week later we flew into each others arms. Here's where the story gets GROSS.

As our lips touched all of a sudden a big huge booger flew from his nose into my mouth!! You like that don't cha?!!! If you ever want to know what a booger tastes like, it's very salty...ha ha ha! He of course was laughing so hard people were looking all while I was trying my best not to puke. So there you have it folks just another day in the life of the Bucci clan. Oh it gets better stay tuned for more great, have a laugh and pee your pants stories from our marriage!!

Only Sekota

Off to Wal-Mart I went today to get some great deals for body wash, tooth paste and soap!!!! Have I said lately how much this excites me!!!???

I'm standing in the check out ready to pay when Sekota my 3 yr old starts telling the cashier that his dogs have tails and we have "butt holes"...........then asks her in his sweet Sekota voice do you have a butt hole???? Talk about wanting to die!!!! First of all I have no idea where he got the butt hole word from. Thank gosh she thought is was cute and simply said yes (with a red face)!!! You just gotta love the things kids say:) Well sometimes!

Coupon Tip

I've been really doing alot of searching the web and finding the right coupon inserts to really to start saving money. Today I discovered my new favorite way of getting great coupons and just wanted to share.

EBAY!!!!!!

So far today I got 5 different coupon orders and the best thing is I paid next to nothing with FREE shipping!!! I'm a very happy lady. In my hallway closet I already have half of one shelve full of things I purchased with coupons!!! Oh and another great way to get those great coupons you love is to just write a simply letter to whatever product you have to have. Like for instance I love dove products so I just write a very short letter telling them how much I enjoy the product and just like that coupons in the mail :) Easy enough. Let the saving begin ladies!!!

Start the Countdown

How in the world is it possible that school will be starting in a month??? Xavier will be going to kindergarten this year (all day) and I'm pretty nervous, scared, dreading the drop offs and I'm just being a big baby about it! I know that's he's going to LOVE it but me not so much. it seems like such a long day, 9-3:35. Man when I went to kindergarten it was only in the am??? I think for at least the first week his world may be rocked a little but I'm sure he'll adjust well (better than me).

School shopping:

Holy cow, I went to wal-mart to pick up his list of school supplies that he needs!! It's like 500 things he needs. It has nothing to do with money but it's just crazy at the things they need that the school can't afford to supply. What happens to some of the families who really can't afford those lists in their budget??? Lets face it between new shoes, clothes and book bags that stuff adds up fast!

So be on the lookout on September 7th for a big cry baby blog cause this mommy is for sure gonna have red eyes before I even drop him off!!! :( sad face x100

My soon-to-be school boy!

Funny Story of us :)

I've been having trouble thinking of things to blog about so I decided to blog once a week about a funny story in our marriage!

First Date:

So Michael asked me out to the movies on our first date to watch Troy. I was so beyond excited and nervous and immediately went out to buy a new outfit. He called me before leaving his house for directions and I gave him pretty good directions to my house. It was almost time so I was looking out the window for him and as I was doing this he drove pass the house! About 5 seconds later he called and it went a little something like this: Michael: "hey MICHELLE I can't seem to find your house, what's the address again?" Me: ummmm.......awkward turkey....who the hell is MICHELLE???? my name is Nichole!!! he was silent pretty much the whole trip to the movies!!! I should have seen red flags going off but to this day I remember coming home and telling my mom that this IS the guy I'm going to marry!! Sure enough two weeks later he asked me to marry him!! No worries he didn't call me MICHELLE anymore but I love to tease him about it. Only Michael would do that. Other than the fact of being called the wrong name it was a perfect first date.
