Take 5

I'm taking a break for only a minute to do my blog. I haven't been good about this lately but someone has to keep things in order. Man what a day it has been. Our electric was out all am so I couldn't clean and shower. We had people coming over to look at the old house and I was so pissed that things didn't get done. Sorry to them if they saw my husband's poop stain on the toilet, I just didn't get to it. Oh and your gonna love this, I had a van full of stuff I was taking to the new house so off I went. The new house has as ADT system and I thought it was off but with the electric jacked up the darn lights went off bells were ringing so what do I do but grab Kota and run to the van. Seconds later I heard cop sirens, are you freaking kidding me?? Thank gosh they didn't come to the house but it wouldn't have surprised me at all. So lets just say it's been one of those days were I just wanna dig a hole and stick my head in.

On a happy note Happy Birthday to my Uncle Tim:)

My Corns Hurt!

Yes that's right I have corns and they hurt like a momma. We are officially in debt for 30 something years but who's counting. I picked up the house keys on Friday and the fun began. We bought paint (200 dollars later) and started at it. Can I just say man it looks good! I can't wait to post pictures when it's all done. It's safe to say that Mike has a painting job after he's out of the Army.

We're planning on the big move next weekend and it can't come soon enough. So all in all it's been a great weekend. Hope you all had a blessed weekend. I have to go so Mike can gnaw on my corns! yes that's right, that's how we roll. WORD

Flashback

I love coming across old picture of the kids! This is Sekota at 3 days old.

This is a picture of myself holding my sweet nephew Logan when he was 7months.

This picture was taken on Xavier 3rd Birthday party and it was also the day Sekota came home from the hospital.

14 years.......only 6 to go

This past week Michael hit his 14 year mark in the Army! All I can think of is holy cow we have 6 left! This makes me a very happy lady. It's been a crazy almost 7 year run so far being married to the military but I will say it has made (forced really) me an even stronger person having gone through all the crap we did.

So come on 6 years fly by:)

I'm pretty sure one of these days Sekota is gonna squeeze the poo out of poor Scout!

On another note I was on FB late Friday (I couldn't sleep) and was on a conservative page where this very left Liberal (if that's what you wanna call her) told me I was in a cult cause I was in fact a conservative. HA HA don't you just love the crap people say??!! No idea where she pulled that one out (I guess her booty) but I was very nice and didn't respond. So immature!

Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow

Man yesterday was one of those days that I felt like I yelled all day long at Sekota! Did you ever have those days??? He really is a good boy but dang if he listens to me. I lost count after how many times he was in the corner by 8:30 am! On our many adventures to Wal-Mart (this was today) I had to hurry up and go down an isle where no one else was and give his little arm a squeeze. Oh right like none of you have done that before! It wasn't hard but I had to let him know what the deal was. He learned.....Oh and thank you Wal-Mart for putting that dang car ride in the exit area only for my child to scream as we pass it. He knows the rules, we don't get on anything like that! GERMS! I'm sure it's just the age he's at and he will start being good soon. That's what I tell myself as he touches all the different candy bars when we are checking out or when he dumps all the pretzels on the table and says "here dayder (that's how he says Xavier) it's nack time!" He has my family all fooled! But none the less I love him more than words could say........had to put that corny mommy line in :)

Do any of you have these issues with your kids???

Here's hoping tomorrow will be less yelling!

The Days

I was going through pictures yesterday and noticed that wow for a long time it was just Xavier and me. Pretty much as soon as we got married Michael started training. He was gone ALL the time, not even joking just ask my family. I'm pretty sure that everyone thought I was a single mom. As I look back I can't help but think they were some of the best times just Xavier and me. I know you think I'm a bad wife for saying that but when your husband is always gone it just becomes "normal" when it's just you and your baby. Just to make it clear I missed Michael like crazy everytime time he left but Xavier made it a little easier because I had him. Almost like a part of Michael was still with me.

Xavier and I had so much fun together. We went on many vacations, even spending some months in NC with my brother and sister in law. Some of those times are the best memories ever.

Then came Sekota!! Ha ha......He was a surprise but a great one. I spent last year alone with my boys as Michael was on yet another deployment. We made some awesome memories. They got to spend a whole year with their cousins and other family. Deployment is hell but I'm so happy that we got to spend that time with family.

Just my tink and I :)

What The Hay

I have a few things on my mind and just wanted to share.

This week is Spring break for my Tink and although I love having him home wth....When I went to school we Never had Spring break! I guess living in PA we were always making up snow days. I swear Xavier has had so many days off from school this year it's crazy. Seriously, they have off for everything. I guess I'm just jealous.

Another thing, I was watching soap net yesterday and every preview they had for the soap shows was really intense sex scenes! BTW I was watching One Tree Hill. Every time my kids came in the room I felt like I had to cover their eyes. I'm guilty I use to watch Days Of Our Lives but stopped watching a while ago. It's all the same. You could stop watching for a few months and still know what's going on. Junk I tell you all junk! I guess I'm just getting older?

My last thing.......question do any of you have any guilty pleasure TV shows you have to watch???? Well I do, it's Teen Mom. My hubby laughs at me but I gotta say I enjoy it. My favorite couple this go around is Corey and Leah hands down! They are too stinking cute!

Any who that's what's on my mind this wonderful rainy day. Happy Monday!

Even my dog gets spoiled! He gets cold very easy so I put a blanket in the dryer for him to cuddle in:)

Gone Too Soon

Early Saturday morning a friend from back home was killed by a drunk driver at the young age of 30. He left behind a fiance, a little boy and baby girl due in July. How sad is this? When I first heard about this I just started crying. This little girl not yet born will never know her wonderful daddy because of a drunk driver. He worked with my older brother, they both are chefs.

The drunk driver was also killed in the crash.

It's just not fair that this poor young woman has to raise her kids all alone and these children won't have their daddy to watch them grow up. My thoughts and continued prayers are with all the family.

April and Autism

This is a special month for us having a child with autism. Xavier has opened my eyes to show much about loving life and having a great time no matter what! This is a little boy that for hours can watch a fan like it's his job and ya know what I wouldn't want it any other way! It use to bother me and I would always worry about what others thought or say. NO MORE.....In fact we often take him to Lowe's so he can see all the fans go at the same time. He's no different than your children:

he loves

he smiles

he plays

he cries

he has feelings

so I just wanted to say that if you know nothing about Autism I challenge you to find somethings out about it. 1 out of 70 children have Autism.  Oh and if your not wearing Blue go change your shirt!

Just a sweet boy!

My mom says that Xavier is her soul mate! (i think she's right) They have this great connection, he used to call her mom......

Pap's Boy all the way!

I told you he plays with toys!

He really does melt every one's heart:)

He's a good cuddle buddy!

Words can't even begin to say how blessed we all are to have Xavier in our lives!
